Are you ready to get MORE out of life? Start putting yourself first.

You may feel like you’re being selfish if you make yourself a priority.

You might worry about what others might think if you did such a selfish act, but in reality, what you would do is actually a great act of selflessness.

It’s easy to get stuck in a cycle of putting everyone else ahead of ourselves. We sure have all done it, but if we want to keep it real here, often we don’t even put ourselves second… but third, fourth, fifth, sixth or only God knows where.

We constantly prioritize friends, family, work, and other BS over our own needs and feel guilty if we take even just a moment for ourselves.

The truth is, putting yourself first is actually the greatest act of selflessness.

Because when you take the time and energy to care for yourself, you can show up in the world with more energy, focus and joy to give to others.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, and if your cup is always running dry, you can’t give your best self to the people around you.

By taking time for yourself, you can show up as the best version of yourself.

This can have a ripple effect on those around you who benefit from the energy and life that you bring and at the same time inspire them to do the same.

You’ll make a bigger impact in the world if you’re feeling good about yourself.

Sure, it can be hard to break out of old patterns of putting yourself last, so start small and build up.

Take a few minutes each day to do something JUST FOR YOU. Something that matters to YOU!!

Now, don’t get it twisted, putting yourself first doesn’t mean that you have to become a self-centered person who only cares about yourself.

It means that you’re taking the time and energy to take care of yourself so that you can show up with more to give to the people around you.

So, if you’re ready to get MORE out of life and be there for others without yourself sinking into the abyss, start by putting yourself first for once.

That will be the greatest selfless act you could ever do.
