Why It’s Time to Say Goodbye…

Here’s a unique idea that can help you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself possible…

Throw yourself a party!

Okay, so hear me out.

This party isn’t just going to be a regular knees up. Instead, this party will be about saying goodbye to an old chapter in your life, even an old version of yourself, and welcoming the new.

Why It’s Time to Say Goodbye…

Too many of us feel trapped by our own personalities, histories, and ways. We can get trapped in disempowering patterns that make us behave the way we always have just because we always have.

And why is that?

There are many reasons for this.

Some of those reasons can be that those patterns might have been created by fear, to give us a sense of comfort, or make us feel protected, etc.

We could get into the neuroscience of plasticity and how repeating certain behaviors makes them much easier in the future (meaning we’re more likely to repeat them even more!).

But because I’m not a neuroscientist, I’ll try to keep this simple.

So why is it hard to break old patterns?

One reason is that we think of ourselves in a certain way, and we want to act in a way that seems congruent with what we’ve learned about ourselves.

Maybe you’re funny, maybe you’re someone who doesn’t take any nonsense. Maybe you’re adventurous or serious, or someone who, like me in the past, was addicted to drama.

Whatever the case, it can become very difficult to break out of the old pattern as you begin to change them with more empowering ones that will serve you better.

Especially if you believe that this is who you are and that it’s what everyone expects from you.

In other ways, we might go back to our old ways when we are tired, stressed, or overwhelmed.

While you might try to commit to new habits and behaviors, it’s always easier to go back to the old ones.

And this is why we want to use this “farewell party” as a way to help us break a disempowering pattern.

By throwing this farewell party for yourself, you mark an end to that period of your life and that chapter and the beginning of a new one.

See it as setting yourself new standards and ones that you will commit to not break.

Take it a deal with yourself.

Time to say goodbye!

One more thing…

If you really want to achieve your goals of overcoming anxiety and are 100% committed to learning effective ways to make your healing journey a lot easier so that you can start living the life you deserve starting today, you click here…
